environmental justice Project

The Center provides technical assistance, community education, and analysis for communities on the social and environmental impacts upon low-income, communities of color, and Indigenous peoples. The Center recognizes that all communities and peoples have their own unique cultures and histories. Our work is to support building of community strengths, and to assist communities in reducing unequal impacts of environmental and economic policies. We are committed to honoring the goals and values of each community and to promoting strategies that create a healthy environment, wise use of natural resources, and leadership development in communities and places that are most affected by pollution and unequal political access.
