![]() ![]() The Global Cooperation Project supports a foundation of human rights, social development and environmental stewardship upon which economic development can prosper. To achieve this, IATP encourages the United States to comply with multilateral treaties and the rule of law. We promote Fair Trade as a model that empowers farmers and workers to lead fulfilled lives. We hold the U.S. government accountable to its agreement of the United Nations' social development commitments and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). And we support trade reform that will address the root causes of poverty and economic injustice.
