Minnovation Exhibit Features 150 Years of Ingenuity

minnovation What do rollerblades, scotch tape, seat belts and Peace Coffee have in common? All were invented in Minnesota and are featured in "Minnovation: 150 Years of Ingenuity." An exhibition May 1-Aug. 17 at Minneapolis Central Library pays tribute to Minnesota's thriving culture of invention and highlights the best of the library's patent collection.

Bioenergy Crops and Water Quality AgroEcology Summit

Rural Advantage, IATP, the Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota and the North Central Region of SARE are co-sponsoring this field day on the Willow Lake Farm in Windom, MN. Topics will include water capacity for bioenergy crops, cover cropping and climate change. It will be held on August 15 from 8:30-5pm.

A Whole-Systems Approach to Bioenergy

Rural Advantage, IATP, the Sustainable Farming Association of Minnesota and the North Central Region of SARE are hosting a field day at Prairie Horizons Farm in Benson, Minnesota. Speakers will discuss biomass cropping systems for bioenergy. The field day will run on August 22, from 10 am to 3 pm.
