New Market Mechanisms, Land-based offsets and Alternatives: Critical Considerations

 

New research and evidence from pilot projects suggests carbon trading will deliver neither adequate finance, nor environmental performance, nor community benefits for land-based carbon sequestration schemes such as REDD or AFOLU.
