WEBINAR: Free money for local school food: Overview of Farm to School Grants from the MN Dept of Agriculture

No matter its size or location, your school district is eligible to receive money through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture's AGRI Farm to School Grants. The grants support school districts that want to start or grow a Farm to School program by reimbursing purchases of food grown locally in Minnesota. Whether you are an expert or new to Farm to School, there's a grant for you.

In this webinar, you will hear an overview of the Farm to School Grant program, including the "First Bite" Mini Grant (for first timers) and the "Full Tray" Grant (for those with more experience). Learn how you can apply and have the chance to ask questions to get your application ready. You will also hear directly about what it's like to apply from previous grant recipients.

Public or private schools or school districts that participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and serve food to K-12 students are eligible to apply, and MDA encourages school districts serving sovereign nations to apply.
