TOKYO - Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) sources were cited as saying, according to the Kyodo news agency Saturday, OECD plans to set up intergovernmental working groups including representatives from its 29 member countries to discuss the issue of genetically modified crops.

The story says that working groups will hold comprehensive discussions to sort out the issues that have been discussed by international institutions such as the World Trade Organization and the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization.
