A critique of Article 13 of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Agriculture, entitled “Due Restraint”, but popularly known as the Peace Clause, prohibits countries from challenging other countries' use of export subsidies and domestic support programs that are otherwise permitted under the agreement’s rules.
