This new study was commissioned by Healthy Legacy and partners, a coalition of U.S. public health and environmental NGO's, to test Bisphenol A (BPA) in popular baby bottles. BPA is a developmental, neural and reproductive toxin that mimics estrogen and can interfere with healthy growth and body function. The results of the study, published by The Work Group for Safe Markets, is the first dual-nation study to measure BPA leaching from baby bottles purchased in the United States and Canada from major retailers..
