This is a statement Mr. Cohen made on behalf of SANIPLAN at the EPA Listening Session on Dec 12, 2006, during the Public Comment section scheduled at the end of the day. Resolve, Inc., the conflict resolution group, that hosted the Listening session will prepare a report on the same. This report will be sent to EPA for consideration in any efforts which may take place to loosen current regulations which generally prohibit the use of bottled water as an alternative to achieve compliance with drinking water standards by public water systems.
