Joint letter that KAW and some member groups signed onto, submitted to the E&C Healthy Subcommittee hearing on July 14, 2010. Their written testimony expresses concern about the misuse of antibiotics in agriculture and voices their strong support for policies, including the Preservation of Antibiotics for Medical Treatment Act (PAMTA, H.R. 1549, S. 619), that will institute a public health approach to antimicrobial use in animals.
