Rachel Joyeux
Development and Communications Manager
Rachel joined IATP in May 2026 to continue strengthening meaningful community engagement that empowers the inspiring and critical work of the organization. She takes a relationship-driven approach to fundraising and aims to build genuine partnerships based on shared values rooted in conservation, fairness, feminism, and social justice.
Rachel moved to Minnesota in 2008 to pursue graduate studies and found many reasons to stay, from the thriving educational and cultural institutions to the dynamic and hardworking grassroots organizations that inspire people around the world. Rachel loves to travel with her family, is a lifelong Francophile, and previously supported the Alliance Française Mpls/St Paul as the Development Director.
A native of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Rachel holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Miami University, a Masters in Comparative Literature from San Francisco State University, and a doctorate in French from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
