At Lower Sioux Head Start, imparting Dakota traditions goes hand-in-hand with connecting their children with healthy, local food. IATP and Lower Sioux, located in Morton, Minnesota, partnered when the center's doors opened in Summer of 2018 to integrate healthy eating and culturally responsive foods.
