Differing U.S. and European Perspectives on GMOs: Political, Economic and Cultural Issues

This paper provides an overview of the historical and cultural factors that have contributed to divergent U.S. and European views on GMOs, and to resulting different national regulatory approaches for these products, specifically labelling policy.
