This article aims to provide scientific information and resources to help communities and individuals make informed decisions about environmental and public health issues. The mission is to foster environmentally and economically sustainable rural communities and regions for public interest research and a precautionary approach to regulatory policies. We believe agricultural technologies should strengthen independent producers and rural communities' vitality. The precautionary principle is central to ensuring that new technologies are evaluated and incorporated to achieve these goals.
