About the Speakers: 

Sudha Nagavarapu supports grassroots organizations in India through collective action, documentation, and fundraising. She has co-organized efforts to resist injustice, discriminatory policies, and hate-driven violence. She works with a number of groups in Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka, including the Sangtin Kisan Mazdoor Sangathan (SKMS). She also coordinates research on
food and farming transitions with academics in Delhi and Bangalore.

Dwijendra Nath Guru promotes efforts to move towards sustainable food systems. He helps communities in developing solutions to people-, process-, machine- and product-related challenges. Dwiji has modified existing machines and developed
process flows for small millet processing that meet the needs of the producer community, improve nutrition retention, and reduce pest infestations. He has developed tutorials and trained people on small millet processing and quality assessment.
