To commemorate 30 years of work on the dam, the International Ecology Institute, together with the University of Sao Paolo (USP), the Graduate Program on Ecology and Natural Resources of (UFSCar) the Federal University of Sao Carlos, are organizing an International Seminar, that will gather scientists, managers, researchers and students.
The event will include plenary sessions, round-tables, small courses, panel presentations, exhibits, publications and will have as its main result the publication of three volumes including the contributions from the sessions, panels and case-studies.:
