Agriculture Secretary Johanns will resign and run for the U.S. Senate in Nebraska, the Lincoln Journal Star reported today. Johanns will seek the Republican nomination for the seat now held by Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., who is retiring at the end of the session.
