IATP submitted the following letter to the U.S. State Department on December 2, 2022 in response to the request for stakeholder input on options for combating international deforestation associated with commodities.
To avoid the worst effects of climate chaos, we must radically transform, equitably and justly, the way we produce our food, manage our ecosystems, and power our economies. We must urgently deploy real and proven, socially just and people-led solutions and dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions at source, down to Real Zero.
The following document was submitted on August 31 in response to a consultation survey advising the High-Level Expert Group (HLEG) of the United Nations Race to Zero greenhouse gas emissions campaign. The subtitles correspond to the survey topics.
The following comment was summitted to the USDA regarding the proposed rule on the “Transparency in Poultry Growing Contracts and Tournaments” on August 1st, 2022. IATP supports the proposed rule and suggests several additions that would increase transparency and fairness for workers.
The following comment was summitted to Securities and Exchange Commission Secretary Vanessa A. Countryman regarding the proposed rule on the “The Enhancement and Standardization of Climate-Related Disclosures for Investors” on June 17, 2022.  Dear Ms. Countryman,
