Comment on the draft paper on ‘Climate Smart Agriculture in Feed the Future Programs’ developed with feedback from across USAID and other U.S. government agencies.
Joint letter explaining why GACSA is unacceptable and will do nothing to mitigate climate damage. Climate-smart agriculture, promoted under GACSA, will only serve as a new promotional space for the planet's worst social and environmental offenders in agriculture.
The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP), a 501(c)(3) organization, is pleased to submit this comment. IATP participated in the NNI stakeholder workshop in June, including two breakout sessions on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) impacts.
