A Fresh Take on Food

Stepping into the Riverview Theater earlier this month, I didn't know what to make of the scene. The theater was packed: 700 people had come to a sold-out documentary about food. The film is called Fresh. There had been no paid media advertisements. No prominent reviews in the entertainment press.

Food and faith

The push for greater access to healthy, locally produced food in the United States continues to get stronger. Today, we released a new report highlighting the role of 11 faith communities around the country that are expanding access to healthy, local foods.

Spring is coming…really. Now is the time to sign up for your community-supported agriculture (CSA) share—farm subscriptions are filling up fast! Community-supported agriculture is a concept where consumers pay upfront at the beginning of the season and then receive a weekly box of farm fresh, seasonal produce from approximately June into October.
